Aniseed


This is the seed of the herbaceous Anise plant. A member of the carrot family it was used in ancient Greece and Rome.

Aniseed, or anise seeds, are small seeds with a sweet, licorice-like flavor, packed with vitamins C and A, and minerals like iron and magnesium. They’re used in baking, teas, and savory dishes.
