About the NutriBlast® Stem Cell Blend
I was sharing some data on Stem Cells with someone recently. How they are vital in replacing damaged cells and maintaining health and our body makes less of them as we age. She asked if I had a specific formula that would increase the release of stem cells from the bones. From past reading I had identified that my products had seven ingredients that boosted the release of stell cells but I wondered if there were more I could combine into a specific Stem Cell boosting version of NutriBlast. So I went reading.
I found some data here: https://www.lifeextension.com/Magazine/2017/3/Nutrients-Boost-Stem-Cell-Function/Page-01
In one study, a supplement containing green tea, astragalus, goji berry extracts, ellagic acid, and vitamin D fermented with a probiotic Lactobacillus species, was given to human volunteers twice daily for 2 weeks. Within a day, and continuing for the rest of the study, researchers detected significant increases in circulating bone marrow stem cells. They believe this was caused by stimulation of the body’s natural repair mechanisms (stem cells) by the nutraceutical combination.
Blueberry extracts are rich in polyphenols, which are highly protective molecules associated with a host of health benefits. A study in rats showed that supplementing animals in early life with a blueberry-enriched diet prevented bone loss (osteoporosis) at menopause. Closer examination of the protective effect revealed that the blueberry supplement stimulated bone-forming stem cells to mature into active bone-mineralizing cells. This action reduced the high post-menopausal rate of bone turnover that, in humans, results in easy fractures.
Spirulina is a blue-green algae that is known for its anti-inflammatory properties. A recent study showed that spirulina could prevent inflammation-induced decreases in brain stem cell proliferation that accumulates with aging. This resulted in improved functioning of stem cell mitochondria, which improved energy utilization and reduced oxidative stress.

A nutritional supplement could stimulate the production of stem cells integral for repairing the body. Research published in BioMed Central’s open access Journal of Translational Medicine suggests that a commercially-available supplement can increase the blood circulation of hematopoietic stem cells, which can give rise to all blood cells, and endothelial progenitor cells, which repair damage to blood vessels.
Thomas E. Ichim from Medistem Incorporated, USA worked with a team of 13 researchers from industry and academia to further investigate whether this supplement, containing a cocktail of green tea, astralagus, goji berry extracts, ’good’ bacteria Lactobacillus fermentum, antioxidant ellagic acid, immune enhancer beta 1,3 glucan and vitamin D3, was able to increase the number of stem cells circulating in the blood. They recruited 18 healthy adults aged between 20 and 72 who stopped any other dietary supplements 4-5 days before starting a two-week course of this supplement, taking it twice daily. The researchers took blood from the participants before they started the course and on days 1, 2, 7 and 14 to test for signs of stem cell activity by looking for cells expressing the genetic stem cell markers CD133, CD34 and KDR. They then confirmed whether taking the supplement changed the overall levels of hematopoietic stem cells and endothelial progenitor cells in the blood by using HALO (Hematopoietic Assay via Luminescent Output) and colony forming assays respectively.
Hematopoietic stem cells and endothelial progenitor cells increased after taking the nutritional supplement, suggesting that the supplement may be a useful stimulator for both types of stem cells. In this study, the levels of these stem cells peaked at 2-7 days and started to drop at 14 days, suggesting that this supplement could be used for continuous treatment for conditions associated with decreases in these stem cells such as Alzheimer’s Disease. Other therapeutic treatments used to recruit hematopoietic stem cells are not viable as long-term solutions due to costs and increased health risks caused by the extremely high levels of stem cells that these treatments maintain in the blood.
“To our knowledge, this is the first study demonstrating profound mobilization effect with possible clinical significance by a food supplement-based approach,” say the authors.
So in an attempt to create a formula that was as effective as possible in increasing circulating stem cells what I did was to create a new NutriBlast that has 37 ingredients in it. “Why 37?” I can hear someone ask, “Other stem cell boosting formulations on the market have only 3-5 ingredients in them.”
Well, those who have been on my mailing list for a while or have read much of my site or my book recall that nature is very synergistic. Many things have their effectiveness remarkably increased by taking them together. For instance chicken and broccoli both have anti-cancer properties but when eaten toether you get 13 times the anti-cancer benefit of eating each individually.
Similarly I have read that the cordyceps muchroom and blue green algae work together to boost the release of stem cells. As a result, the proposed list of ingredients in the formula is far more extensive than is found in other stem cell boosting products.
